The conference was held on Friday 22nd September 2006 in Portsmouth

Conference objective

The theme for this, the eighth, SIHI conference is the contribution that health informatics can make to the management of chronic conditions.

The conference brought together those who use and develop all aspects of health informatics to reflect on progress towards our goals and also look to the future.

How to pronounce SIHI

SIHI is conventionally pronounced "sigh-high" rather than "see-hee".
